Millard is a former town and current neighborhood in southwest Omaha. The original downtown area (often referred to as 'Old Millard') is near 132nd St. and L St. Millard was annexed by Omaha in 1971.
In recent years, Millard has experienced a large amount of expansion. Several high wealth neighborhoods have developed in the area along with new retail and restaurants.
A big attraction for many to the area is the Millard School District. The Millard School District is broken down further into three Districts, Millard North, Millard West and Millard South.

The area also features some of the Omaha area's nicest outdoor recreational facilities such as Chalco Hills and Lake Zorinsky. At both place you can fish, bike, hike or jog or enjoy a relaxing day at one of the picnic spots.
